The US Department of Transportation (USDOT), in partnership with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the Surety and Fidelity Association of America (SFAA)
The Bonding Education Program (BEP) is a hands-on, multi-component program designed to address what businesses need to do to become bond-ready, obtaining capital and eliminate barriers that prevent them for accessing opportunities. BEP participants will have an opportunity to learn more about the components and value of this program as well as meet local and federal level representatives and assistance from the BEP Consultant. Topics covered for business development are [but not limited to]:
•Finance, Taxation & Accounting
•Marketing, Perfecting Your Elevator Pitch
•Business Plan & Access to Capital
•Bonding / Surety
•Certifications, Associations, and more
Only eligible businesses will be allowed to join the cohort. Please complete this form and we will follow up with you accordingly.
Classes begin Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022 and will conclude on December 7th on Wednesdays from 2pm-5pm
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a “Certificate of Completion” from the US DOT.
If you have received the USDOT Bonding and Education Program Certificate in the past there is only one certificate issued per firm. You may attend some sessions (notice will be sent for specific sessions) when the notice for non-cohort attendance is allowed, but you will not receive another certificate.
